Isabel Ruiz has dedicated her career to supporting persons served on their journey toward obtaining their life-long dreams of living meaningful, independent lives. She has over thirteen years of experience working as a direct staff member, who was promoted to a supervisory position as Program Assistant for a behavioral facility in Santa Maria. Isabel’s vast array of experience includes her impressive work in group home settings. She is also a board's member Director for Children's Resource and Referral of Santa Barbara County. Isabel possesses knowledge and experience in implementing positive behavioral supports for the people she serves; she enjoys sharing her knowledge and is often called upon to guide staff members in practices that ensure quality care and supportive services for persons with disabilities.

Other than passionately serving those at New Heights Ventures, Isabel is an involved fun mom of two boys. She enjoys crafting with her Cricut machine and making unique personal gifts which we are always eager to receive.
