Michelle Bjorklund

We are excited to introduce you to Michelle, one of our SLS Coordinators here at New Heights Ventures, Inc. Michelle joined us in 2020, expanding our services to San Luis Obispo County with a territory from Atascadero to Nipomo. As Coordinator, Michelle is responsible for preparing new persons served to join NHV, thus ensuring their service plans and goals are outlined for our team members to accomplish and the overall success of each person served in her portfolio is achieved.

Prior to joining NHV, Michelle had 23 years of experience in the field. She started off as a personal support member and was mentored and promoted to the position she holds now. It is quite an amazing career path that “just happened” because someone mentioned to her that she would be great in this field. We all owe that person a big, "thank you!" Michelle’s heart and dedication to our persons served is noted in her passion training new team members and working with her fellow Coordinators to help our persons served reach their daily goals and long-term benchmarks. She is a great networker, helping build and maintain relationships with other agencies, our vendors, and most importantly the families of our persons served.

When Michelle is not serving those at New Heights Ventures, she spends some “me” time baking and sewing. Her favorite sewing projects are athletic drawstring backpacks and stylish masks with a matching key chain pouch. She also finds rest in spending time with her family and enjoying the tranquility of her front patio.
