New Height Ventures' Respite (In-Home) Services provides intermittent or regularly scheduled non-medical care and supervision provided in a person's home. In-Home Respite services typically include:
- Assisting family members with instruction and supervision to enable a person with developmental disabilities to stay at home
- Providing appropriate care and supervision to protect a person with developmental disabilities' safety in the absence of family members
- Relieving family members from the demanding responsibility of providing care
- Attending to basic self-help needs and other activities that would otherwise be performed by a family member
